An International Company are seeking a Business Support Manager to work in Port Moresby. This is a senior position and will be responsible for the smooth transition of work orders via back office support to Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Operations. The key areas of responsibility will include:Supervision of a Customer Service Centre, Pricing and Supply and Delivery Scheduling ensuring processes are followed and adhered by. They will also act as the main point of contact for customers and engage with stakeholders across other business area's to ensure solutions are found.Pricing and Supply. Working closely with Sales to ensure pricing strategies maximise margin and meet volume objectives and be up to speed on pricing patterns in the external market.Delivery Scheduling. Develop schedules to ensure the lowest cost to serve and satisfy customers maintaining service quality and fleet efficiency.People Development. Ensure that all roles within Business Support are properly staffed and create an environment that recognises both individual and team efforts. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:Degree Educated and experience of managing large teams.Minimum of 5 years experience in a Distribution business including Supply Chain exposure and Retail operations.Experience in the Oil Industry would be an advantage.Experience of managing Sales, Customer Service and/or Logistics.The candidate will need to be an experienced leader with excellent problem solving skills who feels comfortable liaising across different business units in order to deliver results. The role is a residential role based in Port Moresby and will be a senior leadership role with responsibility for a large team.
