Procurement Manager - PNGPNG Resources Company - Oil and GasWe have been instructed to source a senior candidate to work as a "Procurement Manager" on behalf of our retained client. This permanent position will be a rotational role working out on site in the southern Highlands PNG. As the Procurement Manager of a major nationally owned resources company you will manage a team dealing with contracts and purchasing within a multi business unit entity whose primary business is focused in the oil and gas sector.This position is open to Expat candidates who have experience in PNG. Preference will be for a person with Oil and Gas industry experience.As part of the role and in conjunction with your team, you will be responsible for getting goods and services for the best price and value, cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined process and fast production times, working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively, building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers and contract management and negotiation. You will also be used to dealing with dealing with international suppliers and local businesses and cultures On offer are either a residential or 4:2 roster or residential role and a generous salary, together with working for a primary PNG resources company. This role is immediate and offered on a permanent basis.
