(Senior) Contracts Engineer Drilling, Logistics and upstream exploration Project Contracts(Updated / Amended role to be a rostered position)Our Client, an international Oil and Gas E&P Company, is looking to source a passionate and dedicated Contracts Engineer (or preferably senior) to work in PNG on an even time roster basis of 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off for a term of 12 months. This front end role will involve working at the forefront of a major Asia Pacific project. Owing to the small size of the team and the teams position at the commencement of this project this is an opportunity to effectively lead, or work towards leading the contracts element of a major international project. This could be a lead role. The successful candidate will relocate to Port Moresby in PNG for a contract position lasting 12 months working 5:5 roster shared with a back to back: - Tender document preparation - Evaluation, negotiation and awarding of contracts- Management of contracts, cost control and contracted parties- Overseeing drilling and logistics contracts- Reporting to the PNG Country Manager, or Contracts Manager in Australia The desired candidate will require a minimum of 10 years' experience working with engineering contracts including 5 years experience with an international owner operator specialising in Contracts Engineering. Immediately available candidates are preferred. You will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Law, or Business Administration (or similar) and have a positive work attitude to achieve goals. Candidates must have upstream, drilling and logistics experience to be considered suitable for this position. PNG is a unique working location and candidates who have existing work experience in this location, or those who have experience in other remote / underdeveloped locations will be considered most suitable.
