He/she will be well organised, able to prioritise workloads, and demonstrate a high level of initiative and motivation.Responsibilities include:- Enable safe operations as a Safety Leader.- Assist the manager to manage the overall operations ensuring supply of on specification products to customers, whilst adhering to all company safe operating practices, procedures.- Ensure compliance with Operations Integrity Management Systems (OIMS).- Participate fully in safety training programs and monthly emergency response exercises.- Assist Technical Supervisor in the use of the Maintenance Inspection System (MIS) manual to ensure all operating checks and maintenance requirements are performed as required, and records of these are accurately maintained.- Conduct product quality tests.- Assist in inventory control by liaising with office and yard staff, ensuring all control measures are met.- Co-ordinate tanker discharge, back-loading and bunkering operations as certified Tanker Discharge Officer.Qualifications/Experience:- A Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Science or similar.- Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with a strategic mind.- Meticulous with good communication and presentation skills- An effective team player who is innovative and forward thinking- Fluent in English and Tok Pisin, both verbally and written- Establishing/maintaining high standards- Teamwork skills- Customer orientation- Communication skills- Organization skills- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience, knowledge, and background in the petroleum industry.- Positions are available at our Madang and Lae Terminal.#LI-PT1
