At WorleyParsons we are proud of our people and passionate about delivery.We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil & Structural Engineering Team based in PNG. This is a FIFO role on a 15/13 roster. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Delivery discipline specific engineering services that meet WorleyParsons, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements; Perform engineering assignments on projects that meet project requirements on time and within budget; Perform discipline specific engineering services such as; identify and report changes to scope, contribute to appropriate studies, analysis and recommend actions, assist with preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports; Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team and consult with relevant resources as required; Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance if required.To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:Bachelor of Engineering (Civil / Structural); Minimum 8 years experience preferred; Previous experience in detail design in heavy industrial applications (preferably mining or O&G); Brownfield design experience would be an advantage; A demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace is essential; You will be a team player, with proven communication skills enabling you to establish and maintain effective relationships; A flexible approach to work is essential for this role.
