Brief Posting Description Wood Group PSN has recently secured a major new project in Papua New Guinea providing both Brownfield Engineering and Maintenance support to upstream gas facilities and a major LNG facility. In turn, Wood Group PSN requires a Welder/ Fitter on a 28 x 28 rotation at the Hides Gas Conditioning Plant. Detailed Description Reporting to the Construction Foreman you will be responsible for installations and modifications to onsite facilities including piping. Job Requirements To be considered for this position you will have the following: ? Prior experience working in a similar position with the oil and gas industry ? Certified to install piping and structural steel in accordance with applicable codes and specifications ? Experienced in code welding and qualifying weld procedure specifications ? Ability to read construction drawings ? Experience with the implementation of JSA, LMRA, OTA and O&I safety processes and procedures ? Able to work in a multi- cultural environment ? Possess strong written and verbal communication skills ? Ability to pass a pre- employment medical and provide a police clearance ?
