Job Role SummaryExxonMobil PNG Limited is a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation and operator of the PNG LNG Project, an integrated development that includes gas production and processing facilities in the Southern Highlands, Hela, Gulf, Central and Western Provinces. The Project commenced production in mid-2014 and ships liquefied natural gas to customers in Asia.ExxonMobil PNG is committed to developing Papua New Guineans and creating long lasting employment opportunities that contribute to the success of the Project and the nation as a whole. To this end, ExxonMobil PNG Limited is looking for two qualified marine professionals with greater than five years experience in the seagoing marine industry.To succeed in this role, you will have a Certificate of Competency (STCW) at Class 3 or above (deck/engine). You must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. You must be able to demonstrate a total commitment to key behaviours governing safety, quality, ethics and business controls. You are a self-starter, open communicator, willing to build strong relationships within a team environment and eager to learn new skills via on-the-job training.You will be working at a technologically advanced Marine Terminal, working minimum 12-hour shifts on a 28 days on/28 days off roster, being housed in a secure, onsite self-contained community during your rostered days on. After a period of familiarisation, your duties will be varied across ship loading operations and all marine terminal support-related roles.
