Shutdown Lead (HGCP)

Wood is currently recruiting for a Shutdown Lead with extensive shutdown experience within EPCM environment to join our team in Hides Papua New Guinea on a Fly in Fly Out rotational schedule (28 days on 28 days off) Reporting directly to the Shutdown Coordinator  this position will responsible to execute the shutdown as per the agreed contractual requirements and obligations and ensure that the maintenance work is executed in accordance with drawings and specifications and all work is completed with safety within budget and in line with the schedule  Responsibilities - Demonstrate experience in similar role or Senior position in Shutdown delivery - Deliver focused with proven experience in achieving project goals whilst maintain high standards in HSEQ at all times - Manage shutdowns Fully conversant with project management tools - Responsible of production of detailed procedures documents reports - Manage personnel and all aspects of team working - Practice O&G related HSEQ safe working procedures - Deliver training to personnel within the shutdown team - commitment to develop team members - Interface and interact with Management and Client Representatives at all levels - Work both at project and corporate levels Skills Qualifications - Trade background - Past major turnaround experience - Demonstrates technical expertise integrity and the ability to influence and challenge others to behave in ways consistent with the interest of the organisation - Demonstrates sound fact-based decision making and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues clients and contractors to help teams achieve goals - Able to understand changing trends and developments within the Industrial Relations arena and understand and communicate their impact to the business - Actively develops relationships with customers and Wood entities via regular contact and involvement Demonstrates ability to develop long and short-term service relationships - Demonstrated strong commitment to safety - Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills both written and oral - International assignment project experience in similar roles will be highly regarded   If you’re an experienced Shutdown Lead ready for your next project then we are keen to hear from you today  Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets We operate in more than 60 countries employing around 60 000 people with revenues of over 10 billion   We provide performance-driven solutions throughout the asset life cycle from concept to decommissioning across a broad range of industrial markets including the upstream midstream and downstream oil & gas power & process environment and infrastructure clean energy mining nuclear and general industrial sectors   www woodplc com   Diversity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer that recognises the value of a diverse workforce All suitably qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment on the basis of objective criteria and without regard to the following (which is a non-exhaustive list) race colour age religion gender national origin disability sexual orientation gender identity protected veteran status or other characteristics in accordance with the relevant governing laws
