Wood is currently recruiting for an Expeditor to join our team in PNG and working out of the LNG Plant Site Reporting to the Procurement Lead the successful candidate will be responsible for the Procurement of Materials and Services in accordance with company procedures ensuring that all Procurement transactions are auditable and Purchase Orders are closed out expediently Responsibilities- Expedite vendors for timely delivery of materials to designated location fully complying with Purchase Order requirements
- Update reports reflecting status of materials and issue to all stakeholders
- Create Goods Receipt in the system based on proof of delivery
- Co-ordinate with vendors for timely submission of correct Invoices
- Work closely with Accounts payable team to ensure all Invoices are approved in the system for timely payments
- Clearance of any blocked invoices
- Timely close out of purchase orders
- Maintain an auditable file of all relevant purchasing documents for each purchase order
Skills Qualifications
- Professional qualification - studying for Advanced Diploma Procurement & Supply Chain or equivalent with relevant considerable experience
- Significant working experience as a Buyer Expeditor
- Experience in the oil and Gas sector will be highly preferred
- Experience with Maximo – SAP – Oracle – VPRM
- The individual should have varied and detailed work experience in the industry and a detailed knowledge of suppliers terms & conditions of purchase Invoice Management
- Should possess good communication skills
- Able to demonstrate team working skills
- Enthusiastic conscientious and keen to learn
- Flexible with a can-do attitude
