Atthe end of April 2019 WorleyParsons combined with Jacobs’ Energy Chemicals andResources (ECR) division to create Worley Togetherwe are a leading global provider of professional project and asset services inthe energy chemicals and resources sectors We have around 57 000 amazingpeople in 60 countries across the world covering the full lifecycle fromcreating new assets to sustaining and enhancing operating assets for ourcustomers Ourexciting combination will create new opportunities for you to join us We are currently seeking a ConstructionManager with specific experience managing construction of diaphragm walls Therole will be fly-in-fly-out to our client’s site in Papua New Guinea in a 15 13roster You will ultimately beresponsible for the coordination and management of all project constructionactivities to ensure construction projects are achieved safely on time andbudget
Responsibilitieswill include - Ensuringthe safe and timely construction of the diaphragm wall
- Control project expectations for labour equipment material and services and ensure field operations are within budget
- Be able to delegate to field staff and maintainsupervision of functional responsibilities
- Involved in constructability reviews
- Ensure processes of design transport andlogistics subcontracting and planning are incorporated into the relevantproject schedule
- Leadrisk reviews for the construction element of all projects
- Act as an Outstanding Safety Leader
To beconsidered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the followingattributes - Significant experience as a Construction Manager
- Experience in managing construction of adiaphragm wall using hydromill or grab and chisel
- Previous project delivery experience
- The ability to manage multi- disciplineconstruction teams and EPC contractors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in pre-assembly and modularization works
