Job Role SummaryExxonMobil PNG Limited is a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation and operator of the PNG LNG Project an integrated development that includes gas production and processing facilities The Project commenced production in mid-2014 and ships liquefied natural gas to customers in Asia ExxonMobil PNG is committed to developing Papua New Guineans and creating long lasting employment opportunities that contribute to the success of the Project and the nation as a whole To this end ExxonMobil PNG Limited is looking for three qualified marine professionals with greater than five years’ experience in the seagoing marine industry To succeed in this role you will currently hold or have held a Certificate of Competency (STCW) as a Master Chief Mate on an ocean going merchant vessel You must be able to read write and speak English fluently You must be able to demonstrate a total commitment to key behaviours governing safety quality ethics and business controls You are a self-starter open communicator willing to build strong relationships within a team environment and eager to learn new skills via on-the-job training You will be working at a technologically advanced Marine Terminal in Central Province working minimum 12-hour shifts on a 28 days on 28 days off roster being housed in a secure onsite self-contained community during your rostered days on After a period of familiarisation your duties will be varied across ship loading operations and all marine terminal support-related roles
