Wood is currently recruiting an IT Support Officer to join our team in Port Moresby PNG This role is based at the LNG Plant site in Port Moresby with frequent travel to project sites as and when required Reporting to the In-Country Managers this role will be responsible for supporting basic helpdesk Network Maintenance and IT hardware Inventory Responsibilities - Assist users with general IT request and issues (All project sites)
- Interface between Group IT and PNG users when IT issues escalate
- Liaise with Third Party contractor for IT Support in Hardware and Consumables Request
- Basic networking maintenance and documentation
- Desktop and Laptop configuration with Operating system office application and in-house applications
Skills Qualifications
- Recent graduate with sound knowledge in field of IT Communication
- Flexible to work with different nationalities
- Can work with minimal supervision and be available for duty when required after normal working hours
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly
