Accountable for quality of process monitoring, production chemistry testing and production chemistry troubleshooting carried out by the laboratory team. Provides technical input into new chemical treatment programs and otheroperationalprocedures and processes. Accountable for the quality of laboratory tests results/reports, ensures appropriate test methods are employed, establishes and utilizes a rigorous quality control program and fully investigates and resolves any testing problems or non-conformance. Provides technical support to the maintenance and improvement of laboratories throughoutOilSearchoperations Researches, evaluates, recommends and leads the team to implement new test procedures to ensure continual improvement in laboratory processes and outputs. Leads and develops a high performing team, managing, mentoring and coaching chemists to technical standards in order to maximize employee capability development, engagement and enablement. Allocates and manages annual budgetary operating and capital expenses requirements for laboratory services and project planning. Monitors operations, capital and project expenditures. Essential selection criteria: BSc Chemistry or relatedsubject. Proven experience at quality management in accreditedlab. Demonstrated experience in achieving lab accreditation a clearadvantage. Business exposure in a multicultural environment will be anadvantage Basic Process and Production Chemical background anadvantage Minimum 10 years oil field chemistry and / or accredited laboratory testing experience.
