Morobe Mining JV are currently looking to attract a highly experienced Mobile Fleet Maintenance Planning professional to join our Mobile Maintenance team at our Hidden Valley site. As Planning Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance planning activities to ensure that both production and maintenance customers are able to meet necessary costs, production and performance targets.In this leadership role you will be responsible for the following duties: Contributing to the Management of HSE risk related to Mobile Fleet MaintenanceDeveloping and ensuring the continuous improvement of safety best practice in line with MMJV’s Safety SystemOversee the planning activities of the Mobile Fleet by providing technical advice and direction to the Planners, Schedulers, Component Officers and Work Order ClerksSetting and implementing daily planning activities and monitoring the outcome of activities and servicesFoster and actively drive culture of continuous improvementDevelop and implement a planning program for the mobile fleet team. This will include coordinating weekly planning & scheduling meetings, and manage the long term planning.Provide leadership and mentoring for team members, including ongoing training and development, performance management, conflict resolution and crisis managementManage daily costs and report weekly variances to monthly budget / forecast The successful applicant will have a trade certificate, preferably with a Maintenance Management Diploma and a extensive relevant experience in planning and scheduling applications. Experience working in an open-pit mining environment is essential. Communication and cultural awareness is key, so strong interpersonal and relationship building skills are a must as well as an appreciation for PNG culture.Experience working with Komatsu equipment is required *****This is a permanent position, FIFO to PNG on a 16/12 roster .
