Brief Posting Description Wood Group PSN require a SHE Manager to support a major new project in Papua New Guinea providing both Brownfield Engineering and Maintenance support to upstream gas facilities and a major LNG facility. On a 4/4 rotational basis the successful candidate will be responsible for all health, safety and environment activities across the project.Detailed Description As the in-country SHE focal point, you and your back to back will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the companys safety, health and environmental policies specific to conducting business and operations in PNG and for ensuring that our obligations to our stakeholders, both internal and external, are met and surpassed. Safety is at the centre of all WGPSN activities and you will be required to support technical leaders in identifying appropriate SHE training requirements and developing appropriate delivery techniques for a multicultural workforce. You will require a proven track record in the oil and gas industry and significant experience managing SHE in complex remote environments. You should have a strong understanding of the unique challenges that come with working with highly diverse, multicultural teams and can demonstrate experience in training, developing and coaching SHE skills and good behaviours in developing countries, positively contributing to the local communities in which you have worked.
