Our client is a major oil and gas operating company. This role reports to the Maintenance Team Leader for Downstream Operations. The LNG Electrical Technician will be accountable for performing planned and breakdown maintenance duties as required maintaining the safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation of the LNG Plant. Your role will be based at the LNG Plant site on a 28/28 rotational basis. MAIN FUNCTIONS Uphold and ensure compliance with EHS standards for performance and behaviour.Liaison with internal and external parties including Maintenance, Operations and Contractors.Carryout preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance work on HV electrical generation systems and associated equipment.Perform maintenance on Control Systems, with the ability to trace DCS, SIS and FGS software interconnections.Advanced experience with integrated Fire and Gas sysytemsPerform duties on PLC, VFD & DCS networks and sub systems maintenancePerform maintenance on Vendor Package Units to rectify unit control failures.Interpret and maintain machine Condition Monitoring systems.Perform maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic controlled systems.Responsible to ensure quality control/assurance of motor removal, installation & overhaul work and assist to ensure the timeliness of repair work.
