OrganisatieGREF - Construction teamJob DescriptionMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with Contractor to on day-to-day Mech/Elec activities;Coordination with PFC Technical Manager, Principal Design Consultant through project execution (during construction through Hanover);Participation in Contractor?s toolbox talks;Exhibits leadership in safety matters;Attend scheduled and ad-hoc site meetings on behalf of the PMT;Monitor mechanical installations of the Contractor and his subcontractors to ensure compliance with construction documentation;Monitor activities of the Contractor and his subcontractors to ensure Company safety expectation are adhered to (PPE, LPS, work permits, etc.);Ensure Code, Standards, Health, Safety and Environmental compliance;Conducts periodic inspection of work products and mechanical materials;Assist in review of Contractor schedule management;Ensure non-conformances are properly addressed and resolved;Assist the Contract Administrator in assessment of monthly progress and variation order requests;Facilitate timely payments of monthly invoices, as required;Assist the Technical Team in the review of material or shop drawing submittals, as required;Assist the Construction Manager and Technical Team in the response to RFI?s and other contractor inquiries, as required;Liaise with Facilities Management personnel to finalize spare parts requirements;Participate in mechanical completion, static and dynamic commissioning activities for mechanical installations and equipment during System Completion process;Work with System Completion team to finalize all as-built documentation, building systems and equipment records, O&M manuals, etc.Skills and Knowledge Needed Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of a large construction contract;Strong knowledge of the mechanical trades;Familiarity and previous experience with ExxonMobil projects desirable;Ability to communicate effectively;Ability to work effectively with Contractor and as a team player on the PFC PMT;Strong command of the English language;Ability to live and work effectively in similar environment as PNG;Cross-cultural understanding experience with multi-national corporations desirable;Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or software relevant to project management.Accountability / Responsible to GREF PFC Construction ManagerJob RequirementsClient will have preference for ExxonMobil experience and Australian for location of travel.I would suggest you look at any candidates that perhaps have worked with CB&I as there has been many that have been demobilised from the project who worked for this company and perhaps Kentz and CJJV too.Salary and BenefitsResidential role - ie resident in Port Moresby, PNG full time. Single Status onlyWorking 5 day week, 10 hours a day.Annual leave typically 4-6 weeks per year. This time is not paid.Apartment provided by ExxonMobil- fully furnished and in secure compound.Salary = Base Rate (negotiable) + 45% Foreign Service Premium uplift. All salary is subject to PNG tax of 38-42%. (I would suggest that daye rate would be between $800-$900 + uplift - but obviously depending on background and age).Monthly Living Allowance of $US3900.00 or AUD$4060.00 - this is subject to PNG taxed.Travel Allowance paid to contractor. Travel allowance dependent upon person PoO - if Australia USD$670.00 - not subject to PNG tax.Mobiisation and Demobilisation flight plus 2 x additional luggage provided by ExxonMobil on starting and release of assignment.Allianz World Wide Cover provided for all term of assignment.
