My Client is a leading Operator within the Energy sector, looking for an experienced Project Engineer to be a part of the Well Pads & Camp Operation team on a project based in Papua New Guinea. This project, is a long-term opportunity initially office based then move to site, on a 5/5 rotation. Looking for a start in April 2019 - Q4 of 2024.Job Overview:Under the management of the CPF & Wellpads Package manager, the service holder shall be responsible for:3 Wellpads ( 2 gas producers including one to convert to acid gas injector, 1 water injector )Operation Camp for 240 paxResponsibilities:HSE:The job holder shall undertake all activities she/he is responsible for, or involved in, with the highest level of consideration for HSE risk management, protecting human health, respecting communities and conserving the environment.She/he will promote safety and environment awareness / conscientiousness at all levels through an exemplary and pro-active attitude towards the Project team, the Contractor / Subcontractor and with all stakeholders.Ensures and promotes the use of the Company rules and specifications throughout his activities to ensure compliance with Project safety objectives.Duties:Provide technical assistance and input on all Wellpads and Operation Camp subjects to CPF & Wellpads package manager.To monitor all parties involved in the Wellpads & Operation Camp activities (FEED/EPC Contractor – Suppliers – Project team in interface) during every phases of the development of the Wellpads & Operation Camp (engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning),To manage the interfaces of the Wellpads & Operation Camp with the other packages (Early works, Drilling, Onshore Pipelines). This will be made in cooperation with Papua LNG Interface Manager/Engineers.To ensure that the Wellpads & Operation Camp meets all Project requirements, and complies with all applicable rules, codes and standards, specifically with regards to HSSE requirements.To update regularly, at least quarterly, the Risk register of the Wellpads & Operation Camp and implement the corresponding mitigation actionsTo promote innovative and cost effective solutionsEnvironment:Papua LNG project is a combined onshore and offshore project development comprising:Wellpads and the upstream gathering network including flowlines and two parallel multiphase trunklinesupstream Central Processing Facility (CPF), approximately 30 km from the fieldmain onshore and offshore export system consisting of a single-phase gas pipeline and a condensate pipelineintegration in existing liquefaction plant located 325 km from the CPF in the vicinity of Port-MoresbyThe project is located in a remote, sensitive, dense and rainy tropical environment.Infrastructures are actually non-existing.Requirements:oil & gas experience with some civil works knowledgePrevious experience within similiar job role & Environment .French speaking is a plus If you are interested or looking for more information, please apply above.Our role in supporting diversity and inclusionAs an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
