Project Engineer - Civil (Wellpads and Operations Camp) - Contract - PNGOur client globally integrated energy client with regional offices across Asia Pacific are looking to hire a Project Engineer responsible for civil works related to wellpads and operations camp in PNG.Responsibilities: The job holder shall undertake all activities she/he is responsible for, or involved in, with the highest level of consideration for HSE risk management, protecting human health, respecting communities and conserving the environment.promote safety and environment awareness / conscientiousness at all levels through an exemplary and pro-active attitude towards the Project team, the Contractor / Subcontractor and with all stakeholders.Ensures and promotes the use of the Company rules and specifications throughout his activities to ensure compliance with Project safety objectives.Provide technical assistance and input on all wellpads and operation camp subjects to the manager.Monitor all parties involved in the wellpads and operation camp activities (FEED/EPC Contractor – Suppliers – Project team in interface) during every phases of the development of the wellpads and operation camp (engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning).Ensure that the wellpads and operation camp meets all project requirements, and complies with all applicable rules, codes and standards, specifically with regards to HSSE requirements.Update regularly, at least quarterly, the risk registers of the wellpads and operation camp and implement the corresponding mitigation actions.Key Requirements:Project Engineering (civil) experience in oil and gas.Proven delivery in a similar civil project engineering role related to upstream energy sector.Exposure to significant greenfield project development at CAPEX level.Strong written and spoken English / French also highly desired.We have detailed information on this position as well as a good indication of the financial remuneration, get in touch with us at the offices for more information, follow the link and apply to register your interest.Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
