Wood is currently recruiting for a Strategic Resourcing Advisor to join our team in Port Moresby and working out of the LNG Plant Site Functionally reporting to the Strategic Resourcing Team Lead and operationally to Resourcing People & Organisation (P O) & Compliance Lead the successful candidate will be responsible for managing vacancies within their assigned area of responsibility adhering to appropriate timescales and budget requirements and ensuring that the expectations of candidates and hiring managers are met Responsibilities- Establish strong working relationships with internal customers
- Develop a strong understanding of business needs and respond to requests for resourcing support
- Ensure that our customers understand the recruitment process and provide guidance and support throughout the process
- Ensure job advertisements accurately reflect business needs core values and legal requirements
- Advise customers on employment models salary rate information market data and costs associated with the recruitment process
- Provide advice on appropriate candidate sources and attraction media to attract both internal and external applicants
- Ensure all applicants have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process regardless of the outcome of their application
- Screening of candidate applications against agreed criteria and delivery of appropriate candidate CV s that meet minimum role requirements
- Provide support as appropriate throughout the selection process
- Ensure offers are at the appropriate level for the role with all necessary approvals and paperwork in place
- Make offers of employment to candidates ensuring that they fully understand the offer details and communicate outcome to all relevant parties
Skills Qualifications
- Tertiary education qualification in business administration HR or related field
- Previous experience as a recruiter is highly regarded
- Ensure Wood hiring and selection activities reflect local practices and cultures
- Displays a focus on Safety and Assurance at all stages of the Recruitment Life Cycle
- Builds and maintains strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders in the Recruitment process
- Ensure we attract and retain the best people for our business Treat all candidates and prospective candidates with honesty and respect
- Ability to challenge existing tools and processes and suggest change to ensure continuous improvement of our capability
- Maintain up to date local market information on candidate’s remuneration allowing us to attract the right candidates for our business in line with our compensation strategy
- Acts with honesty and integrity at all times maintaining compliance with Wood Business
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
