Wood is currently recruiting for Logistics Coordinator to ensure that required materials are issued to site in line with project requirements through liaising with construction manager and logistics provider This role will primarily be based at the Hides Gas Conditioning Plant (HGCP) in PNG on rotational basis (28 days on off) and will be reporting to the Lead Materials & Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities - Timely issuing and management of required materials to job sites
- Arranging in country material movement from PNG suppliers where required
- Ensuring Goods Receipts in Procurement system and allocation to warehouse location
- Ensure adequate systems tracking of material status whilst materials are in transit and at warehouse
- Maintaining data integrity in Procurement & materials systems
- Assuring material deliveries aligned to inbound transport supply schedules
Skills Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas or similar industry
- 3 years’ experience in materials coordination
- Varied and detailed work experience in the industry and sound knowledge of Logistics and warehouse processes & procedures
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound understanding of legislative requirements
- Ability to relate to a multi-cultural workforce
- Locally respected and recognised with highest degree of integrity
- Business software competency (MS Office Oracle VPRM)
- Team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
