Materials Coordinator

Wood is currently recruiting for a Materials Coordinator with extensive experience to join our team in Hides Papua New Guinea on a Fly in Fly Out rotational schedule (28 days on 28 days off)  Reporting directly to the Warehouse Superintendent  this position will be responsible for ensuring that required materials are issued to site in line with project requirements through liaising with construction manager and logistics provider Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage  Responsibilities- Compliance with Wood Supply Chain procedures - Timely issuing and management of required materials to job sites - Arranging in country material movement from PNG suppliers where required - Ensuring Goods Receipts in Procurement system and allocation to warehouse location - Ensure adequate systems tracking of material status whilst materials are in transit and at warehouse - Maintaining data integrity in Procurement & materials systems - Assuring material deliveries aligned to inbound transport supply schedules - Flexibility required as some hands-on warehousing duties will be required Skills Qualifications - School leavers qualifications (Higher Standard Grades or local equivalents - 5 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas or similar industry - 3 years’ experience in material logistics coordination - Varied and detailed work experience in the industry and sound knowledge of Logistics and warehouse processes & procedures - Excellent communication skills - Sound understanding of legislative requirements - Ability to relate to a multi-cultural workforce - Locally respected and recognised with highest degree of integrity - Business software competency (MS Office Oracle VPRM) - Proven organisation skills - Demonstrated strong commitment to safety - Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills both written and oral If you’re an experienced Materials Coordinator ready for your next project then we are keen to hear from you today  Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets We operate in more than 60 countries employing around 60 000 people with revenues of over 10 billion   We provide performance-driven solutions throughout the asset life cycle from concept to decommissioning across a broad range of industrial markets including the upstream midstream and downstream oil & gas power & process environment and infrastructure clean energy mining nuclear and general industrial sectors   www woodplc com   Diversity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer that recognises the value of a diverse workforce All suitably qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment on the basis of objective criteria and without regard to the following (which is a non-exhaustive list) race colour age religion gender national origin disability sexual orientation gender identity protected veteran status or other characteristics in accordance with the relevant governing laws
