About our client: This prominent international company is a renowned explorer and producer in the fast-paced and dynamic world of oil and gas. With high profile operations underway and development activities on the horizon, our client has career-defining opportunities for driven and skilled professionals to join their global team. About the role: This role implements and improves upon procedures, processes and practices for metering, calibration, verification and system and equipment maintenance in order to drive measurement excellence through the PNG. You will be working on an equal-time rotation 28 days on, 28 days off, flying from your city of residence. All flights are covered and accommodation is provided in a modern camp facility. Key responsibilities: Carries out and improves upon verification procedures to ensure they accurately represent the tests required and are well executed Carries out metering activities to all relevant metering/measurement standards and requirements of Joint Venture Agreements in order to achieve high standards of measurement excellence Implements calibration routine activities including equipment maintenance to ensure all instruments are in optimal working order Manages all aspects of metering equipment maintenance from identification of breakdowns, replacements of parts and maintenance of spares in order to allow for smooth and continuous operations of instrumented systems and associated machinery Essential selection criteria: Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance activities on oil and gas metering systems (5 to 10 years’ experience) Instrument trade qualification and/or engineering degree Hazardous Area Installation and Maintenance competencies listed under AS/NZ 4761 Knowledge of recognised standards in Hydrocarbon metering systems e.g. API MPMS Knowledge of in critical documentation requirements Experience in installation To apply for this position please click the APPLY button.
