About the role:
This role coordinates and supervises the work of employees, implements and improves upon procedures, processes and practices for predictive and ongoing maintenance and repairs in order to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment throughout the PNG Operations Business Unit.
You will be working on an equal-time rotation 28 days on, 28 days off, flying from your city of residence. All flights are covered and accommodation is provided in a modern camp facility.
Key responsibilities:
Supervises the team to carry out maintenance activities to all relevant standards and requirements in order to ensure the optional functioning of equipment
Leads and develops a high performing team in order to maximise employee capability development, engagement and enablement
Promotes and implements the company’s Health, Safety and Environment and Security policies in order to hold the team accountable for ensuring a safe working environment
Manages all aspects of day to day equipment maintenance from identification of breakdowns, replacements of parts and maintenance of spares in order to allow for smooth and continuous operations of machinery
Essential selection criteria:
Working as a Maintenance Supervisor (3 to 5 years’ experience at supervisor level)
Instrument/mechanical trade qualification and/or engineering degree
Broad knowledge of one or more maintenance skills
Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance activities on oil and gas metering systems
